2 tbsp (25 mL) Summer Kitchen Sweet Horseradish Spread
1 tsp (5 mL) Queen Mary Classic Dijon Mustard
… 3 tbsp (400 mL) mayonnaise
1 ½ tbsp (18mL) capers, coarsely chopped
½ stalk celery, finely chopped
2 tbsp (25 mL) red onions, finely chopped
2-7 oz can of tuna, in water, drained well
pepper and salt to taste
For Tuna Melt:
In a medium sized bowl, mix together Sweet Horseradish, Classic Dijon Mustard and mayonnaise. Combine all remaining ingredients together. Use as a filling for lunch and cocktail sandwiches.
Makes 2 cup
To make great Tuna Melts, simply spread favourite bread with tuna salad filling and top with Old Cheddar slices. Broil in toaster oven until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with avocado slices and serve immediately.
